7.1  Part or Identification Number (PIN).  The PINs to be used for harrows acquired to this CID

are created as follows (see 7.3):

AA  52014 - X  X  XX

Size:  8 - 8 foot cutting width.

10 - 10 foot cutting width.

12 - 12 foot cutting width.

Class:  N - Class 1 - Notched front disk blades and solid rear blades.

S - Class 2 - Solid front and rear blades.

Type:  1 - Type I - Single tandem.

2 - Type II - Double tandem. CID number.

Designates a CID.

7.2  Addresses for obtaining copies of referenced documents.

7.2.1  Government documents.  The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) may be obtained from the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402.

7.3  Ordering data.  Acquisition documents must specify the following:

a.   Title, number, and date of this CID.

b.   Issue of the DoDISS to be cited in the solicitation, and if required, the specified issue of individual documents referenced.

c.   When wheels other than specified are required.

d.   When lifting and tiedown attachments are required. e.   When paint color other than specified is required.

f.    PIN and quantity of harrows required.

g.   Selection of applicable level and packaging requirements.

7.4  Cross-reference data.  Size 10 and 12 harrows conforming to this CID are interchangeable/ substitutable with harrows conforming to A-A-52014. Size 8 harrows conforming to this CID are interchangeable/substitutable with harrows conforming to MIL-H-3751B.
